Life is so beautiful.
There’s so many things for us to do.
We need to stop caring and stop judging. Live our lives as if there is nobody around to criticize our choices. Stop doing things for attention, stop wearing things for the trend.
Find yourself and you’ll feel amazing. A lot of people have been writing or ranting about how empty they feel, how things have changed. Well, things have changed; you are growing. Things are not going to be the same. The truth is, you may have known who you were at the age of 7 more than you know yourself today. I’d like to believe this is true because at the age of 7 we simply didn’t care. We went on our own adventures. We sung our hearts out as if nobody was around. We jumped off trees and made our own recipes. We were free! Fear was not an option. (unless we were going to bed and the boogie man was coming out - lol) Life is beautiful.

The chances of you getting a response is thin, especially after months without speaking. Done doing your shit? Well, I may not be done doing mine. Let’s be fair.

I don’t know if its age or whatnot but, lately I’ve been in this natural state. I’m currently growing out my afro/curls. Going through this process makes me appreciate myself more than I had before. I feel different; beautiful. I really appreciate myself as a young adult, a female, a black female. It’s gorgeous, I love seeing my natural curls, my OWN hair. Not that my relaxed hair wasn’t my own but it wasn’t me. I obviously wasn’t born with pin straight hair like an Asian, I’m friggen black lol! And I love it!
I know I just went all def jam, soul food, love jones on you guys but I feel different and I thought I should share it with you all :)
I have also discovered some R&B singers that I absolutely love. LOL guys I’m changing this is crazy! haha I still love hip-hop though
